Search for Your Business

🔎 Search for Your Business

DialMyStore finds most shops using Google Maps. That means if your business has an active Google Maps / Google Business Profile listing, we can usually find and show it on our site.

If you don’t have a Google Maps listing, don’t worry — you can still appear on DialMyStore by using our site search (category + location). Read on to learn how search works and what information appears on a business page.

How search works (simple)

1. Google Maps (best chance)

  • We look for your business on Google Maps first.

  • If your shop has a Google Business Profile (the listing you manage on Google), we can fetch its details and show them on DialMyStore.

Why this matters: Having a Google Maps listing makes it much easier for customers to find you on our site and on other places on the web.

2. Our site search: category + location

If your business does not appear via Google Maps, try searching on DialMyStore:

  • Use the search box on the homepage and type a category + place, for example:

    • hotels in new york

    • cafes in mumbai

    • mobile repair in bangalore

If your shop is popular in the area or matches the search terms, we may show it in the results even when it has no Google listing.

3. If your business is not listed

  • Go create or claim your Google Business Profile (search “Google Business Profile” and follow Google’s steps). That will make you visible to Google and to DialMyStore.

  • Or, from DialMyStore’s homepage, use the search-by-category feature (example above). If you still don’t see your business, contact us at [email protected] and include:

    • Business name

    • Full address

    • Phone number

    • Proof that you own the business (optional)

We’ll help you get listed.

How ranking works (short & simple)

  • If a business is popular in a city or category, it will likely appear higher (near the top) in search results.

  • Popularity is based on things like: how many people visit the listing, how many reviews and ratings it has, and how often the business appears in searches for similar terms.

  • You can improve your rank by claiming your listing, adding accurate details, uploading photos, and collecting reviews.

What happens when your shop is found

When you click on your business name in search results, you’ll be taken to the business page (the shop profile). This page shows everything a customer or shop owner needs to know — and more.

Below is a friendly list of everything we show on a single shop page.

✅ What we show on a shop’s page (business profile)

Basic details

  • Business name — the shop’s name as shown on maps/listings.

  • Full address — street, city and country so customers can find you easily.

  • Map & location pin — a small map with the shop’s exact location and directions.

Contact & access

  • Phone numbers (call or WhatsApp if available).

  • Email address (if provided).

  • Website link (open shop website in a new tab).

Opening times

  • Opening hours for each day (if provided) so customers know when you’re open.

  • Primary photo and additional photos (interiors, exteriors, products, menu).

  • Buyers like pages with good photos — upload clear images to attract customers.

Ratings & reviews

  • Average rating (e.g., 4.5 stars).

  • Number of reviews and a small list of recent reviews.

  • Review replies (if owner replies, they may be shown).

What the shop sells / services

  • Short description or business categories (for example: bakery, electronics repair, salon).

  • Top products or services (if the shop owner added them).

Pricing & offers (if provided)

  • Any special offers, promotions, or highlighted deals the shop has listed.

  • A small list of nearby or similar shops you can compare against.

Keywords & search signals

  • Short list of search keywords people use to find this shop (e.g., “best biryani near me”, “shoe repair open now”).

Photos, products & small catalog

  • If the shop has uploaded products or a mini-catalog, those items appear here for customers to browse.

Owner-only info (visible only if the shop is claimed by the owner)

If you have claimed the listing and logged into your DialMyStore account, your shop page shows extra controls and stats, such as:

  • Manage Listing / Edit details button so you can update contact, hours, photos and description.

  • Quick link to Claim or Manage subscription and pricing plans.

  • Short analytics snapshot (page views, clicks, impressions for the last 30 days).

  • Leads & enquiries link (messages customers sent through the profile).

  • Store operations link (take you to POS, inventory, invoices if your plan includes these).

Small utilities & diagnostics

  • Distance from city center (approximate) if applicable.

  • Availability checks (if the shop’s website is listed and checked).

Community & discussions

  • Discussion count or forum threads related to the shop (if available).

Quick owner tips to appear better and rank higher

  1. Claim your listing on DialMyStore (and on Google). That gives you editing power.

  2. Complete all details: phone, website, full address, opening hours.

  3. Upload good photos of your shop and products — visuals attract clicks.

  4. Encourage reviews from happy customers — more reviews help ranking.

  5. Use accurate keywords when editing description (e.g., “bakery”, “cake shop”, “wedding cakes”).

Example: How to search (handy examples)

  • restaurants in delhi → shows popular restaurants in Delhi.

  • electronics repair in bangalore → shows repair shops near Bangalore.

  • hotels in newyork → shows hotels and ranking by popularity.

If your shop is well-known locally, there’s a good chance we will fetch it and show it with a rank.
