The Sales Analytics page helps you evaluate performance over any date range, compare months, and understand which products or customers drive your business, allowing you to make better inventory, pricing, and staffing decisions.

1. Period summaries & totals

  • Total Sales – Total value of sales for your selected date range.

  • Items Sold – Number of individual products/services sold.

  • Total Tax Collected – All GST/VAT or other taxes collected during that time.

  • Total Discounts – Sum of all discounts or promotions applied.

2. Daily Sales Chart

  • Line graph that visualizes day-by-day sales volume.

  • Helps identify growth patterns, quiet periods, or anomalies.

3. Monthly Comparison Summary

  • Automatically compares Current Month vs Previous Month:

    • Total sales difference.

    • Most sold product.

    • Top customer (by amount spent).

    • Biggest single sale.

  • Highlights improvement or decline in core performance metrics.

4. Detailed Filters

  • Start & End Dates — select any range.

  • Payment Method Filter — view specific payment sources (cash, UPI, card, crypto, etc.).

  • Reset / Apply Filters — instantly regenerate data with one click.

5. Recent Sales Table

  • Displays all recent transactions matching your filter.

  • Each record includes sale date, invoice number, customer name, payment type, and total amount.

  • Direct links to view full sale or customer details.

  3. Review the summary cards for total sales, tax, discounts, and items sold.

  4. Scroll to the Daily Sales Chart to visualize sales trends day-by-day.

  5. Analyze the Monthly Comparison Section to see growth or decline.

  6. Check Recent Sales for transaction-level detail — click an invoice or customer name to open full details.
